Privacy policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
This policy explains what information the Unifight Haifa website handles and why. It is written in line with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, including Amendment 13, which came into force on 14 August 2025.
Who is responsible
The site is run by Unifight Haifa, a registered non-profit association (amuta no. 580472751), which is responsible for the information described here. You can reach us on WhatsApp: 054-763-2054, or by email: unifight.haifa@outlook.com.
What we collect
Nothing that you enter. The site is static: it has no forms, no user accounts and no payments, and it does not ask for your name, phone number or any other personal details. We do not use advertising trackers. Analytics runs only if you agree to it, as described below.
What is saved in your browser
To remember your choices on your next visit, the site saves these settings in your browser’s local storage (localStorage):
- the site language you picked;
- your schedule filters (for example, the age group or branch you selected);
- whether you accepted or declined analytics.
These settings stay on your device and are never sent to us. You can delete them at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.
Services that receive technical data
When your browser loads a page, the services below receive technical data such as your IP address and browser type, as part of how the internet works:
- GitHub Pages hosts the site.
- OpenStreetMap supplies the map of our training venues. The map is loaded only after you press the button to show it.
- YouTube hosts the club videos. The player loads only after you press play on a video; from then on YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
- Google Analytics measures how the site is used, but only if you accept analytics (see below).
Each of these services handles that data under its own privacy policy.
Links to other services
The site links to WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Google Maps and Waze. Nothing is loaded from these services until you click a link. Once you open one, that service’s own privacy policy applies.
Analytics
The site asks whether you agree to analytics. Until you press “Accept”, nothing is loaded from Google Analytics and no analytics cookies are set. If you press “Decline”, nothing is loaded either.
If you accept, the site loads Google Analytics 4. Google then sets cookies whose names start with _ga and receives information about your visit: the pages you open, the site language, your device and browser type, your approximate location (country or city, worked out from your IP address), and clicks on WhatsApp, phone and social network links, schedule filters, the map and navigation links, the language switcher, the news sharing buttons and video plays. For a click we record only which button it was, for example the training venue or the place on the page, never what you write or say. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Advertising features stay off.
We use this only to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Google processes the data, possibly outside Israel, under its own privacy policy, and keeps it for the period set in our account, at most 14 months.
You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page. If you withdraw consent, the site deletes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser and stops loading it.
Photos
The site shows photos from training sessions and competitions, and club members, including children, may appear in them. If you or your child appear in a photo and you would like it removed, contact us and we will take it down.
If you contact us
If you message or call us, we use the details you send only to reply to you and to arrange training. We do not sell them or pass them on for marketing.
Your rights
You may ask to see personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it. To do so, contact us on WhatsApp. You may also contact the Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
